The Ruby Hotel & Bar needs midweek occupancy. As a new independent hotel located in an area primarily dominated by big brands with national corporate accounts, they need a sound strategy to steal corporate travelers from their competitors.
STRATEGY
SWISH preformed a full GDS audit to ensure The Ruby is positioned to attract corporate travelers as well as travel agents. Next, we determined the top 10 corporate accounts booking in our neighborhood and began participating with the corresponding consortia programs. In addition, we ensured that the operations team was set up for success to meet and exceed the needs of the corporate traveler and created a easy process to pay travel agents in a timely manner. Building these relationships is key for growing the corporate business segment. Finally, The Ruby signed up for STASH Rewards program to complete with the big brands rewards programs. Corporate travelers love racking up points for leisure travel.
